International Mobility Advisor

We are looking for a proactive and solutions-focused Global Mobility Advisor to join our International HR team. Reporting to the International Mobility Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the creation and delivery of our global mobility programme, helping employees relocate, travel internationally, and work across borders in a compliant and employee focused way. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing global organisation where mobility plays a critical role in supporting our international workforce. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, gain exposure to complex global mobility challenges and help shape how mobility is delivered across the business.
Responsibilities- Mobility Operations - Administer and deliver international assignments, permanent transfers, business travel, and remote working arrangements; coordinate mobility processes with employees, managers and external service providers; manage mobility case files and ensure accurate record keeping; support assignment lifecycle activities including onboarding, extensions and repatriation.
- Compliance & Risk Management - Support global tax and social security compliance activities; conduct cross border employee and business traveller reviews; monitor assignment compliance requirements and ensure follow up actions; liaise with payroll team and external mobility vendors to support expatriate payroll administration, including shadow payroll and modified payroll processes; assist with social security reporting and compliance obligations where appropriate.
- Mobility Advisory Support - Provide guidance to employees and managers on mobility policies and procedures; research local employment, tax and social security requirements in new and existing locations; assist in preparing cost estimates and mobility proposals; support the implementation of mobility programmes and process improvements.
- Reporting & Projects - Produce mobility reports and analytics; create high quality presentations and supporting documentation for stakeholders; support mobility projects, policy reviews and expansion into new territories; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the mobility programme.
- Minimum 3 years' of work experience in Global Mobility, International HR, Expatriate Services or a related field.
- Experience supporting international assignments and employee mobility programmes.
- Exposure to immigration, tax or social security compliance activities.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and teams across a variety of geographies and disciplines.
- Strong administration and project coordination skills.
- Understanding of A1 applications and social security arrangements.
- Knowledge of international assignment administration.
- Understanding of global mobility risks and compliance considerations.
- Familiarity with business traveller compliance requirements.
- Awareness of expatriate payroll concepts including shadow payroll and modified payroll arrangements.
- Strong understanding of international tax and social security principles, including international tax treaty OECD principles and reciprocal social security agreements.
- Resilient and adaptable in a fast changing environment.
- Pragmatic and willing to challenge traditional approaches.
- Comfortable balancing operational delivery with more complex technical work.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
