Salary & Compensation

Salary Range: €52,000.00 - €68,000.00. In addition to salary, you will be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of Etsy's total rewards package.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Accountant to join the Accounting Team in Dublin. This full time position reports to the Senior International Finance Manager. You will support Etsy's growth by ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and a strong internal control environment. You will be based in the Dublin office, with flexible presence once or twice per week.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day, monthly and quarterly international accounting activities. Key duties include:

• Full ownership of US GAAP reporting: manage month end close, balance sheet reconciliations and internal reporting for a number of Etsy International entities.
• Full ownership of local statutory compliance: manage audit, prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with local legislation.
• Perform monthly analytics for each subsidiary.
• Drive continuous improvement through standardisation, automation, process re engineering, and adoption of AI enabled tools.
• Partner with international business partners, SEC reporting for external reporting, treasury team on banking and liquidity, and payroll team to ensure accurate monthly payroll.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification: ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA or similar.
• Approximately 1 year post qualification experience in a similar organisation.
• Strong financial accounting background with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems; exposure to Workday is a distinct advantage.
• Highly organised, adaptable, strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks through to completion and consistently meet commitments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective working relationships in a distributed environment.
• Detail oriented with a proactive continuous improvement mindset and interest in new technologies and AI enabled solutions.
