Thus, the department aims to detect and treat increasingly frequent and diverse disorders while respecting ethical principles and quality standards. Quality teaching is also provided by the department to both students and physicians in training for the specialist title in psychiatry, raising awareness of psychological, biological, and social dimensions. The department also supports a high standard of quality in psychotherapy. Organized into 5 services, the department offers a very broad and diverse range of care including multidisciplinary inpatient care according to different modalities and intensities, organized according to community principles, as well as specialized programs and units. Integrated clinical and structured quality teaching is provided by the department for physicians in training, emphasizing psychological, biological, and social dimensions. The department also ensures structured theoretical training in the three main models of psychotherapy, as well as individual and group supervision included in the program. The department also offers active support for research paths related to a clinical and research cluster that maintains a high level of quality. Finally, the department seeks to understand the origins of mental disorders with the help of cognitive and affective neuroscience, which is a true highlight of the Geneva site. In view of your training for obtaining your title in psychiatry and psychotherapy, you will join a care unit of the department and ensure, within a multidisciplinary team, the follow-up and inpatient psychotherapeutic care of patients in your unit. In parallel to your activity, you will benefit from a quality structured clinical training according to the requirements of the FMH for obtaining the specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy, and it is also possible to participate in ongoing research activities at the service level. You can also receive assistance to carry out a doctoral thesis. We offer: A high-quality integrated training meeting the requirements of Swiss physicians (FMH) that includes both practical clinical activity and theoretical instruction across all areas of psychiatry as well as in the three main axes of psychotherapy. Within the framework of your post, you will ensure a rotation within the different services of the department according to your choice of career path. This practical and theoretical instruction is complemented by psychotherapy supervision and access to conferences. The department covers all expenses.You hold a medical degree or possess a qualification deemed equivalent by the Medical Profession Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO). Experience in psychiatry and/or medicine is essential. For non-French speakers, a proficiency level of C1 in spoken and written French is required.
