Internal Communications Manager

Dublin based Hybrid 2 days onsite

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join a large, purpose-led national organisation undergoing significant transformation. Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, you will help employees understand the organisation's strategy, priorities and performance and how their work contributes to the bigger picture. You will lead communications across a diverse workforce, with a particular focus on leadership, frontline and field-based employee communications.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering internal communications plans aligned with organisational priorities
  • Leading engaging leadership and employee communications
  • Managing and evolving internal channels, including the employee intranet
  • Strengthening communications with frontline and field-based teams
  • Supporting employee engagement, advocacy and organisational change
  • Creating clear, compelling content across digital and traditional channels
  • Advising senior stakeholders and supporting communications during significant incidents
  • Measuring effectiveness and using employee feedback to improve communications

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Significant experience in internal or employee communications
  • Hands on experience managing an intranet
  • Strong frontline or field force communications experience
  • Excellent writing, editing and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using AI tools to improve communications quality, speed and impact
  • A strong track record in a complex, regulated or multi stakeholder environment
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and translate complex information into clear, engaging communications
