Internal Audit Team Leader - Switzerland

Swiss Multinational business is recruiting a Team Leader for their internal audit function. There is a clear vision for the audit group, with this position being an integral part of this vision. The business are in good health, the culture is supportive, the sector growing and the missing ingredient is a strong Leader of operational and financial audits (with experience of SAP), with the potential to develop further.

The Internal Audit Team leader position is a hands on role, travelling 30% of the time across various global locations. With a strong international element, the team leader will be focussed around building efficiency and best practice to the global operations. With a risk based approach, this business are looking for a commercially and operationally astute auditor.

The role itself is focused around corporate audits and audits of the subsidiaries/ manufacturing facilities. The focus will be on finance, accounting, sales, marketing, accounting, shared services, supply-chain, controls and anti-fraud audits. Leading teams in these audits, and taking managerial responsibilities within the audit group make the need for someone with leadership, autonomy and maturity the key elements.

SAP is very important. You will need to have had exposure to this system, ideally having being involved with SAP projects, implementation or optimising processes within SAP. This is an operational and financial audit role however, and your SAP experience will have been in the context of an internal audit role. Candidates from a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, logistics, energy or automotive background backgrounds should understand quickly the risks that arise and the processes to follow.
