Internship Opportunity: International Communications & Learning

Location: 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands

Hours: 32 hours per week

Duration: 4-6 months

Compensation: Paid internship (€450/month)

What will you do?


As Intern International Communications & Learning, you will help make knowledge and stories from our organization, partners, and research projects accessible and visible to a global audience. You'll work on key social topics such as inclusion, climate, conflict-affected areas, and international cooperation.


Your tasks will include:

  • Creating and implementing communication and learning strategies for international projects, such as Breaking Down Barriers and the Humanitarian-Development Nexus.
  • Supporting and organizing international learning and exchange sessions.
  • Developing accessible knowledge products (e.g., tools, best practices, infographics).
  • Assisting in international communication via the website, newsletters, and partner platforms.

You'll work closely with our Learning & Knowledge Development Advisor and be part of the driven and committed Programme Strategy & Learning team.


Who are we looking for?

A motivated intern who:

  • Has a strong interest in international development and inclusion (studying Communication, International Development, or a related field).
  • Possesses excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Can translate complex information into clear and engaging content.
  • Has experience with (cross-)media communication channels.
  • Is fluent in English (knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus).
