Intermediate Structural Engineer

Location and Working PatternCork, Ireland. On-site role with occasional client meetings.
Client OverviewOur client is a well-established engineering consultancy with an international presence, delivering high-quality solutions across various sectors, including life sciences. They pride themselves on technical excellence and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Produce structural design calculations and detailed reports for assigned project elements
- Assist with creating and developing 3D Revit models
- Review and verify structural drawings for accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with internal team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Attend internal design meetings and client review sessions
- Ensure all deliverables meet agreed deadlines and quality standards
- Adhere to all relevant design codes and client protocols
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years' experience designing building structures
- Strong knowledge of Eurocode, BSI and Irish standards
- Proficiency with structural design software such as TEKLA Designer
- Excellent communication skills
- Chartered Engineer status (preferable)
- Experience working on life sciences or industrial sector projects
