Job Description
- Senior Interim Procurement & Supply Chain lead
- Minimal travel: 1 day/month in London
- High-profile role within a procurement and supply chain function which is undergoing transformation
- Lead and inspire a team of procurement professionals to deliver best-in class performance
- Drive end-to-end procurement across complex property and investment programmes
- Shape and execute sourcing strategies, tenders, and commercial plans
- Optimise supply chain performance, delivering cost savings and value for money
- Act as a key partner to operational, technical, and commercial stakeholders
- Build strong supplier relationships and lead critical negotiations
- Ensure full compliance with procurement legislation and internal governance
- Proactively manage risk, performance, and continuous improvement
- Proven senior procurement leadership experience in complex environments
- Deep knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations & Procurement Act 2023 - this is a MUST HAVE
- JCT and NEC knowledge
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering savings and value
- Confident stakeholder manager with excellent communication skills
- Experience in property, construction, or housing sectors (advantageous)
- Skilled in sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance
- MCIPS (or working towards) desirable
- Immediate impact in a business critical role
- Strategic influence with hands on delivery
- Flexible, low travel contract with strong day rate
