Interim Project AccountantScunthorpe 6 Month Contract £350 - £500 Per day Hybrid Working Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a well-established business based in Scunthorpe who are looking to appoint a Project Accountant to support the finance function through a period of change and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the review and clearance of a backlog of financial reporting and accounts
Rebuild and strengthen reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial information
Support the production of management accounts and associated analysis
Review existing finance processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies and control improvements
Drive improvements to financial reporting, reconciliations and balance sheet integrity
Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and improve financial visibility
Support the implementation of improved processes, controls and reporting structures
Provide technical accounting support to the wider finance team where required
Key Skills
Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience
Proven experience working on finance improvement or transformation projects
Strong balance sheet and reconciliation expertise
Advanced Excel and strong financial systems capability
Confident working with senior stakeholders and driving change within finance teams
