The Department of Politics and Public Administration seeks to fill this position from April 1, 2027, to March 31, 2033. The position becomes available once the current professor is appointed as university president.

Tasks & Responsibilities- 9 hours of teaching per semester in German and English at the Bachelor and Master level, with a special focus on the area of International Politics, with a specialization in European Politics and Integration
- Teaching an introductory lecture on politics in Germany and Europe in alternation with the working group on German Politics
- Supervision of Bachelor's and Master's theses
- Strong track record in the field of European and international politics; ideally knowledge about German politics
- Teaching experience
- Excellent doctorate in political science or a related discipline
- Habilitation-equivalent achievements
- Internationally visible publications
- Desired: expertise in teaching qualitative research designs and methods
