Michael Page are currently working with a well known business based in Birmingham who have an exciting opportunity for an Interim Procurement Lead to join their busy Procurement team on an interim basis. This organisation are well known within their field and currently going through a successful period of growth & development.

Job Description

As Interim Procurement Lead you will report into the Procurement Director.

Duties will include, however, not be limited to:

  • Play a leading role in the ongoing development and implementation of procurement strategies and processes.
  • Continue to embed and develop appropriate Procurement Policies.
  • Enable the business objectives through delivering effective procurement.
  • Work with senior stakeholders from across the business to develop and implement contract management strategies to ensure a robust approach to supplier relationship management.
  • Identify opportunities for improving Procurement processes.


The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Lead should have:

  • Previous experience within a Procurement Role within FM
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and processes.
