Job Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to structured finance and commercial lending transactions.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation in structured finance deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on legal and business objectives.
• Support the structuring and execution of complex financial transactions.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations impacting the financial services industry and advise on implications.
• Handle legal disputes, ensuring the organization's interests are protected.
• Assist with due diligence and risk assessments for potential financial transactions.
• Provide training and updates to internal stakeholders on relevant legal developments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Legal Counsel - Structured Finance should have:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the bar.
• Strong knowledge of structured finance and commercial lending practices.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex financial contracts.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in understanding and applying financial services regulations.
