Job Description
Interim HR Business Partner (3-Month Assignment)

A leading consultancy and project management business experiencing rapid growth and integration are seeking to hire an experienced HR Business Partner to join them on a short term basis to cover leave but with potential for extension.

About This Contract
  • As the Interim HR Business Partner, you will deliver hands on support throughout a dynamic 3 month project (with potential for extension), focused on integration, growth, and organisational change.
  • You will partner with leaders on complex employee relations matters, advise on termination appeals, and support employment commission case preparation.
  • You will oversee performance improvement plans, drive performance management practices, and provide expert HR input on TUPE and change activities.
  • You will manage professional exits/offboarding, develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and use HRIS platforms to enable effective people processes.
What Skills You Need
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR Generalist, ideally in consultancy, professional services, construction, property, or related industries (other sectors considered).
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, case management, termination appeals, and performance improvement processes.
  • Familiarity with performance management, and supporting organisational change or TUPE activities.
  • Experience using HR systems, ideally cloud-based (such as Workday), and proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, pragmatic, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Professional qualification (e.g. CIPD) is advantageous but not required if experience is strong.
