Head of SEND & Inclusion

Interim - 3 Month Contract initially

North West England -

Hybrid - 3 Days on Site

£550-650 per day Inside IR35 (via umbrella)

CVs are being reviewed immediately, with interviews taking place W/C 16th for a March start.

You will lead a large SEND & Inclusion service, driving improvement, ensuring statutory compliance, and strengthening partnerships across education, health, and social care.

Your Role as Head of SEND & Inclusion:
  • Lead and develop SEND & Inclusion services to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
  • Oversee statutory performance, EHCP quality, and commissioned provision.
  • Manage significant budgets and resources, ensuring value for money.
  • Build strong partnerships with schools, health, social care, and wider stakeholders.
  • Drive cultural and organisational change, promoting high performance and continuous improvement.
Your Previous Experience:
  • Strategic leadership experience within a comparable SEND or education focused organisation.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate multi disciplinary teams.
  • Strong financial and resource management experience, including budget setting and monitoring.
  • Solid understanding of inclusion and inclusive practice across education settings.
