Interim Head of Finance - Luxury Retail £100M Turnover 6-Month Contract
Morgan McKinley working with a high-growth luxury retail brand to appoint an Interim Head of Finance on a 6-month contract. This is a hands-on leadership role with oversight across financial operations, reporting, and planning. Day rate: £400-£500 (Inside IR35), depending on experience.
The Role
As Interim Head of Finance, you'll lead day-to-day financial management while supporting senior leadership with strategic planning and decision-making. Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, this role is well-suited to someone who can operate across both operational finance and commercial planning.

The Role
As Interim Head of Finance, you'll lead day-to-day financial management while supporting senior leadership with strategic planning and decision-making. Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, this role is well-suited to someone who can operate across both operational finance and commercial planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversight of month-end close and production of management accounts
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Cashflow management and reporting
- Support year-end audit process and liaise with external advisors
- Partner with operations and supply chain to improve financial planning around stock and inventory
- Review and improve finance processes and controls
- Provide clear financial insight and recommendations to senior leadership
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Strong experience in finance leadership within a product-based or retail business
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end finance operations in a fast-paced environment
- Confident in cashflow forecasting, management reporting, and budgeting
- Experience working cross-functionally with supply chain and commercial teams
- Hands-on, solutions-focused approach with strong communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems
- Background in high-growth or founder-led businesses
