Interim Group Financial ControllerBristol (Hybrid) Competitive Day Rate 6-Month Initial Contract Immediate Start PreferredHays Senior Finance are partnering with a highly successful and growing business to appoint an experienced Interim Group Financial Controller.This is a hands-on leadership role, supporting the CFO and wider leadership team through a critical period of growth, reporting enhancement and financial transformation. We're seeking a commercially minded finance leader who can quickly get up to speed, provide technical expertise and bring strong financial control across a multi-entity environment. Key Responsibilities Own group reporting, consolidations and board reporting packs Manage statutory accounts and external audit delivery Drive improvements in controls, reporting processes and governance Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management Lead and develop the finance team Partner with senior stakeholders across the business Support M&A, integration and acquisition-related projects where required Ensure compliance and relevant statutory requirements Manage a team of 4, reporting to Group CFOAbout You Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Previous Group Financial Controller, Head of Finance or Finance Director experience Strong group reporting and consolidation expertise Experience operating within multi-entity environments Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business Able to balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery Available immediately or at short notice (within 1 week)Desirable Experience Private equity-backed businesses Manufacturing, engineering, industrial or project-led environments Finance transformation and systems improvement projects M&A, acquisitions and integration activityWhat's on Offer?
