Job Description
We are working with a consultancy business with private equity investment, embarking on an exciting phase of transformation and growth. As they scale, they are seeking an ambitious and analytically sharp Interim FP&A Manager to support our CFO and leadership team in driving financial insight and strategic decision-making for three to six months.
The Role
This is a high-impact role ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, ideally within a PE-backed or fast-paced environment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, enhancing reporting, and driving performance through data-led insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modelling & Analysis:
- Build and refine financial models to assess business performance, forecast growth, and support strategic initiatives.
- Board Pack Development:
- Collaborate with the CFO to enhance the board reporting pack, ensuring it meets the expectations of private equity stakeholders.
- KPI Scorecard Design:
- Lead the development and refinement of a new KPI framework, modelling the impact of key metrics on business performance.
- Pricing Strategy & Revenue Insight:
- Analyse pricing models and revenue streams, providing actionable commentary and recommendations for improvement.
- Data Manipulation & Presentation:
- Consolidate and interpret data from multiple sources, presenting clear, concise insights to the CFO and senior leadership.
- Operational Analysis:
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and financial performance through data-driven analysis.
About You:
- 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, ideally in a consultancy or PE-backed business.
- Strong financial modelling and Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and distil insights for senior stakeholders.
- Experience improving board reporting and KPI frameworks.
- Commercially astute with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
