Interim Financial Controller Membership Organisation Immediate Start

6 months+, full time, hybrid working (access to private office when working on site) Liverpool Street Tube

Our client, a respected UK membership organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Specialistto provide expert support during a period of transition.

While this is a cover assignment initially, there is scope to review and improve financial procedures where needed. This is a Qualified Accountant role, and it would suit someone comfortable in a hands-on, independent capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day financial operations including reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes
• Review existing financial procedures and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and charity/membership regulation
• Assist in Budgeting process
• Support stakeholders with financial insights and ensure continuity across finance functions

What We're Looking For

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience in SME environments or membership organisations
• Comfortable working independently and advising on financial process improvements
• Available to start ASAP for a minimum of 6 months, with potential to extend
