Interim Director, International Criminal Justice Cooperation

Garda is seeking an Assistant Secretary (Director Designate) for the Criminal Justice International Cooperation Office to lead operational setup and strategic direction. The successful candidate must possess substantial experience in senior leadership, with a robust understanding of regulatory frameworks in Ireland and the EU. This role requires engagement with various judicial and law enforcement bodies, necessitating strong managerial abilities and legal expertise. The office is set to be fully operational by 2028 and aims to have around 150 staff members.
