Job Description

  • Oversee the organisation's financial planning and management processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures for compliance and efficiency.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting processes effectively.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to support organisational goals.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team to maintain high performance standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to secure the organisation's stability.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim CFO should have:

  • A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
  • Proven experience as a CFO within the Not For Profit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to implement effective financial strategies and policies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.

What's on Offer

  • An attractive interim day rate of approximately £700 - £900, paid daily via umbrella
  • Fractional role - 2-3 days per week
  • Hybrid working (1 day office)
