Job Description
- Oversee the organisation's financial planning and management processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures for compliance and efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting processes effectively.
- Provide strategic financial advice to support organisational goals.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team to maintain high performance standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks to secure the organisation's stability.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim CFO should have:
- A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
- Proven experience as a CFO within the Not For Profit sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to implement effective financial strategies and policies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
What's on Offer
- An attractive interim day rate of approximately £700 - £900, paid daily via umbrella
- Fractional role - 2-3 days per week
- Hybrid working (1 day office)
