Background This is a maternity cover 12 month FTC role, reporting directly to the Head of Development, The successful candidate will take on Line Management responsibilities of the Application Developers. Key Responsibilities The Application Development Lead will be responsible for the Line Management of the Application Developers. They will provide support and guidance to the team and manage objectives and career planning. They will ensure that development standards are met within the team and work with the Head of Development to make sure business requirements are delivered to a high standard in a timely mannerThis role will work closely with Head of Development and Head of Technical Delivery and across all of the Scrum teams.This is not a purely management role and the individual will still contribute to development within their allocated Scrum Team.Strong people skills are essential in order to communicate with business users at all levels.Key roles: Line Management of Application Development Team.
