Job Description
We are recruiting for an Interim Accounts Payable to join a Global Investment Firm with worldwide jurisdiction. The position is in London on a contract basis.
The successful candidate must have 3+ years of accounts payable experience within Financial Services, ideally within investment management, asset management or private equity.
Candidates must be available to start immediately or have a maximum notice period of 2 weeks.
Hybrid working is on offer (3 days in the office per week at the start then down to 2 days).
Examples of responsibilities to expect:
- Responsible for day-to-day accounting work e.g. coding, processing, and matching supplier invoices.
- Set up contract and manage contracts against invoices.
- Take charge of data entry and period-end reconciliation.
- Responsible for making payments and managing Direct Debits.
- Reviewing and processing employee business expenses.
- Use professional accounting software.
- Liaise with external suppliers.
Candidate Requirements:
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience ideally within investment management, asset management or private equity.
- Immediately Available to start or 2 weeks' notice.
- Previous experience using Infor/PeopleSoft interface would be beneficial.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence management and to lead and work collaboratively across teams.
