The role
As an Inter Company Manager, you will lead and manage Inter Company accounting, recharging, and reconciliation activities. Your role is crucial for ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient Inter Company transactions and processes.
Day-to-day, you'll lead and manage a capable and motivated team, delivering high-quality service to the sectors.
- Team management including setting objectives, developing plans, coaching, and delegating tasks.
- Mentoring and developing team members to enhance overall output and understanding of Inter Company activities.
- Overseeing the shared Inter Company mailbox, managing approximately 400 requisitions per month, and providing hands-on support as needed.
- Managing month-end and year-end Inter Company processes to ensure reconciliation of balances and resolution of discrepancies within tight deadlines.
This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements. Ideally, candidates will be located near Portsmouth, Leicester, or Devonport.
Essential experience
- Experience managing and developing a team within a Finance function (preferred but not essential). This is a good opportunity for an experienced accountant seeking a management role.
- Experience in Inter Company accounting, preferably in a complex international environment.
- Technical finance skills, with the ability to interpret and explain accounting principles to non-technical staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Outlook.
- Experience with Finance IT applications such as SAP, NAV (Navision), IFS, etc.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant preferred; part-qualified or qualified by experience will also be considered.
Security Clearance
