Job Description

Vysus Group is a leading engineering and technical consultancy offering specialist asset performance, risk management and project management expertise across complex industrial assets, energy assets (oil and gas, nuclear, renewables) and the energy transition.

We are looking for an IntegrityEngineer to join our Asset Management Consulting team in Westhill, Aberdeenshire. The Asset Management Consulting team helps our clients to run their assets safely and cost effectively with a risk-based approach to integrity and maintenance planning. We operate in the oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, renewables, and power generation sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Review and assess pressure system integrity and contribute to recommendations and implementations of effective methodologies for integrity management.
  • Ability to review and understand client procedures and methodologies and support implementation.
  • Develop inspection workbooks for onshore production facilities, offshore topsides, pressure systems, structures, and pipelines.
  • Collaborate with process, corrosion, pipeline, and structural teams to develop and execute inspection schemes.
  • Coordinate with on- and offshore inspection engineers to schedule and report inspection activities.
  • Evaluate inspection results and assess the integrity condition of assets.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience in oil & gas, power, chemical, or petrochemical sectors.
  • Basic knowledge of corrosion related damage mechanisms and applicable inspection methods and techniques.
  • Ability to understand and interpret inspection strategy guidelines regarding these selection of Damage Mechanism driven CMLs.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and relevant codes/standards (e.g., API, ASME).
  • A customer-focused, solution-driven mindset with strong communication skills.
  • A versatile, flexible approach, with attention to detail and strong reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel offshore and internationally, sometimes on short notice.
  • Professional level (written & spoken) in English language.
