About the Role

The focus of the Integration Engineer involves implementing SS&C Algorithmics risk, capital management and insurance software solutions at client sites in Europe. This is not a traditional development role, you won't be building software from scratch. Instead, you'll use your scripting and technical skills to configure, connect, and deploy our solutions based on each client's environment. Implementations are structured around SS&C Algorithmics project teams that include both functional and technical specialists.

Integration Engineers are the technical specialists in the team and are expected to have detailed knowledge of SS&C Algorithmics solutions and components, as well as to understand the IT and technical issues relating to the client's environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide consultancy and support for SS&C Algorithmics products to clients and internally.
• Define and scope configuration, interfacing, and enhancement work with project teams.
• Configure SS&C Algorithmics and third-party products, troubleshoot, and conduct testing for installations and upgrades.
• Install products on client sites or remotely, assist with acceptance tests, and provide first-line support post-implementation.
• Develop custom solutions using Python, Perl, and shell scripting among others.
• Design interfaces between client data and SS&C Algorithmics products, focusing on data mapping.
• Deliver training and product overviews to clients and internally, and lead pre-sales discussions.
• Conduct research, analyze data, and provide recommendations and solutions to clients.
• Collaborate with SS&C stakeholders to deliver robust solutions and troubleshoot issues.
• Help on troubleshoot errors, performance issues, and license problems encountered by customers during implementation.

Your Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in technical degree (e.g.) Computer science, telecom engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on command of Unix / Linux environments and scripting (shell, Python, or Perl).
• Basic programming experience in at least one language (e.g.) Java, Python, C#.
• Capacity to estimate work, manage own deliverables and keep within project plans.
• Ability to work with competing demands in small multi-disciplinary teams.
• Sound documentation and communication skills in a client-facing environment.
• Languages: Fluent in English & Spanish

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Exposure to DevOps, middleware, or cloud environments.
• Interest in financial systems, risk management, or insurance tech.
• Experience using productivity tools or AI agents.
