Job Description

Contract Opportunity: Energy Systems Integration SME (BESS & Multi-Asset Energy Solutions)

We are supporting the development of a new Energy Hub portfolio for a leading system integration business and are seeking experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support partner assessment, solution architecture, and integration strategy.
This is a contract engagement suited to professionals with deep expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), distributed energy resources (DER), and multi-asset energy system integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of a next-generation Energy Hub portfolio integrating distributed energy resources.
  • Assess and evaluate technology partners and suppliers across generation, storage, and controllable loads.
  • Provide expertise in the integration of DER with power management and energy management systems.
  • Contribute to solution design and architecture for multi-asset energy systems.
  • Advise on system interoperability, integration frameworks, and technical best practices.
  • Support the definition of scalable integration models for energy hubs combining multiple energy assets.
Required Expertise
  • Deep experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
  • Strong knowledge of distributed energy resources (DER) including generation, storage, and flexible loads.
  • Demonstrated experience in multi-asset integration and energy system architecture.
  • Expertise in power management systems and energy management platforms.
  • Background in solution design, system architecture, or technical consulting within the energy sector.
