Are you an excellent team player looking for a new experience? Taunton and West Somerset Integrated Team are looking for an Integrated Administrator to join our team.This role will require regular working in the Taunton and West Somerset Neighbourhood Hub between the hours of 8am to 10pm, 7 days per week.You will be based at Harrison House in Taunton but there will be an expectation for you to travel to any of our locations within the Taunton and West Somerset Neighbourhood Service should our operational needs require it.
The post requires flexibility and the ability to provide a wide range of administrative duties to the Neighbourhood teams we support.
The post is offered on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 9 to12 months.
Main duties of the jobDeal with day-to-day correspondence, initiating appropriate responses to provide patients, staff and other parties with required information in a friendly and professional manner.Receive telephone calls, accepting messages on behalf of members of the specialty team, taking appropriate action where necessary.Liaise with appropriate colleagues in the service to gather and coordinate patient information so this is accessible in a timely manner.Type all forms of clinical correspondence as dictated by clinical staff, by use of audio or copy typing. Produce copies for appropriate agencies, filing copies in correct sequence, ensuring follow-up arrangements are in place, listing outstanding investigations on the hospital database system.Process urgent referrals and arrange appropriate outpatient appointments.Participate in team and Trust meetings as requested.

Person Specification Qualifications- N/A
- RSA Stage III word processing/typing or equivalent/NVQ 3 business and administration or working towards within agreed time scale.
- ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence).
- Knowledge of information technology packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience of using NHS electronic systems e.g. Rio, Integra, E-roster
- Experience of setting up and maintaining office systems
- Appropriate and significant amount of administrative experience
