An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Insurance Analyst to join a growing and dynamic insurance business. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with data, analysing information, maintaining accurate records, and supporting key operational processes specifically within insurance.
You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of insurance operations through data management, reconciliations, reporting, and administration. Working closely with internal teams, you will help deliver accurate information, support business objectives, and contribute to high levels of service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute documentation using established templates and processes.
- Accurately enter, amend, update, and maintain data across internal systems.
- Create and maintain electronic and paper-based records and files.
- Review, update, and monitor departmental reports, taking appropriate action where required.
- Conduct reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
- Process payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Prepare and manage statements and account information.
- Allocate payments and financial transactions accurately.
- Support operational and administrative processes across the wider business.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
About You
The successful candidate will possess:
- Previous experience within insurance, financial services, or a regulated environment.
- A strong understanding of insurance principles and operational processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other business systems.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of London Market processes and systems.
- Exposure to insurance finance, settlements, reconciliations, or premium processing.
- Understanding of FCA regulations and insurance broking controls.
- Familiarity with insurance market systems and reporting tools.
