Infrastructure Systems Engineer / Windows

Our client is an IT company specializing in Systems / Windows Infrastructure Engineering (Senior) M/F. Our client is a medium-sized IT firm based in French-speaking Switzerland, which includes over 100 employees and is responsible for the design and evolution of critical environments for a network of multi-site partners. In order to strengthen its Infrastructure department and for a full-time position, we are looking for a: Windows Systems Engineer (Senior) M/F. MISSION DESCRIPTION Within the Infrastructure team, you will ensure the evolution and management of systems and virtualized environments in a multi-site context with high availability requirements. You will actively contribute to the performance and resilience of the responsibilities and evolution of virtualized environments (VMware). Key responsibilities: - Management of Windows and Linux server infrastructures. - Management of backup and storage solutions. - Contribution to high-availability architectures for upgrade projects, level 2 incident management, and infrastructure contributions. - Participation in the maintenance and standards in an on-call service (1 week out of 5).PROFILE - Engineer with a degree (HES/EPF) or equivalent experience. - Minimum 7 years in systems engineering. - Confirmed experience in critical multi-site environments. - Experience in high-availability infrastructures. Key technical skills:- VMware (vSphere) - network mastery (NSX = strong). - Microsoft Server (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP). - Linux environments. - Backup solutions (Veeam, X). - SAN/NAS storage. - Sufficient network knowledge for troubleshooting (PowerShell, Python, Ansible = good knowledge of infrastructure security). Soft skills:- Strong autonomy. - Analytical mindset and problem-solving approach. - Structured and clear professional approach. - Sense of responsibility in a critical environment. Languages:- French: Complete mastery (oral & written). - English: Professional level.
