Job Title: Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer
Location: Midlands
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Salary: £29,911.20 + Company Vehicle
Job Summary:
This role is crucial for maintaining the reliability and efficiency of Airband's network infrastructure. Reporting to Infrastructure Team Leader you will be responsible for;
Maintenance: Ensure the continuous operation and upkeep of Airband's Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) sites and fibre cabinets. Ensuring our sited are accessible and safe for the Infrastructure Engineers.
Servicing: Conduct regular servicing to prevent potential issues and ensure optimal performance of all infrastructure components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance of Airband's FWA and fibre sites - ensuring trees, bushes and associated foliage are all cut back.
- Ensuring sites are accessible and safe for all engineering staff.
- Building & repairing fences where required to ensure livestock are kept to a distance from the cabinet or mast.
- Assist the infrastructure team as and when required with outages/daily workflow
- Survey, installation & maintenance of cabinet infrastructure where required.
- Read and understand technical drawing and specification sheet required to install the equipment you are working with.
- Working in accordance with Airband H&S policies and within HSE guidelines.
- Correct use of safety equipment and procedures while demonstrating to other members of the team.
- Follow the Airband ethos and demonstrate it to other members of the team.
- Use of Airband systems such as Salesforce to record activities.

- Must be comfortable working at heights (including rooftops)
Mandatory
It is important that all our engineers have the right certifications to be compliant and safe whilst working. Therefore, we have a list of mandatory requirements for the role, but we will support new colleagues to fill any skills gaps they have before they are fully operational in the role.
