Job Description

Infrastructure Integration & Monitoring Engineer (40-60%) vacancy for a Zurich-based telecom company in the network infrastructure sector.

Your tasks:

  • Ensure network connectivity and integration of M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) equipment (Aircon, UPS, DC, Fire Alarm, Intrusion Alarm Systems, etc.) into existing systems

  • Act as an interface between the Site Engineering team, IT, and network departments

  • Manage and document IP address allocation and usage

  • Optimize monitoring systems, dashboards, KPI reporting, and related databases

  • Support technical presales efforts by aligning infrastructure integration with system capabilities and customer needs

Your experience/knowledge:

  • Multiple years of professional experience in the IT and telecommunications industry

  • Hands-on experience with SNMP-based monitoring and tools such as DataMiner (Skyline), Cramer, Nagios, Netcool, and Stablenet

  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Familiarity with Sunrise systems and integration processes is a plus

  • Language skills: English - fluent; German - a plus
