Job Description

Razorblue Role:

We are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer - Consulting to work remotely in the Cambridgeshire area and join our growing team of like-minded tech professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

Project Delivery (80%)
  • Delivering implementation projects to our customers.
  • Creating excellent documentation.
  • Project handovers to service delivery.
  • Implementing new technologies.
Project Scoping, Planning, and Training (20%)
  • Supporting staff development through internal training.
  • Scoping and planning successful projects.
  • Mentoring junior team members.

Our ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge across various technologies and be capable of troubleshooting and delivering high-quality solutions that satisfy our clients. Customer service skills are essential, along with effective communication and a friendly, tech-savvy approach.

  • Qualifications: Relevant networking, infrastructure, and Microsoft certifications (CCNA, JNCP, MCSA, VCP).
  • Microsoft 365/Azure: Managing Azure & Office 365, including Conditional Access, Azure AD Connect, Exchange Online/Hybrid, SharePoint, Teams, Intune/Endpoint Management.
  • Cloud: Experience with AWS and Azure (public and private cloud).
  • Virtualisation: Maintaining VMware vSphere and Hyper-V environments, including replication and failover.
  • VOIP: Supporting FreePBX, Mitel, Gamma, Skype/Teams VOIP systems.
  • Security: Experience with MDM, MFA, Email Filtering, Next-Generation firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
  • Windows Server: Installation and configuration.
  • Storage: Managing SAN devices, iSCSI connectivity, clustering.
  • Remote Desktop Services: Supporting RDS, RemoteApp, and Citrix environments.
  • Networking: Troubleshooting at 3rd line, supporting firewalls like Palo Alto, Sophos, FortiNet, etc.
  • Endpoint Support: Supporting Windows desktops, applications, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Soft Skills: Effective communication, methodical diagnosis, independent research, organization, prioritization, and a full clean UK driving license.
