We have two exciting opportunities for Infrastructure Engineers to join our Technology team on a fixed-term contract for 24 months.
Role OverviewAs an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be responsible for assisting the business in ensuring IT services are available and fit for purpose, and leading efforts to resolve issues. You'll ensure Asset Knowledge is documented and shared, and provide a senior technical position for setting standards and being an escalation point for technical matters.

Main responsibilities include:
- Assisting in Asset Life Cycle Management
- Serving as a Subject Matter Expert on relevant Asset Categories
- Advising on asset performance to help shape Technical Roadmaps
- Following testing, installation, maintenance, upgrade, and continuous improvement cycles
- Acting as a final escalation point for Incidents and Problems
- Deputizing for the Infrastructure lead when required
- Mentoring and guiding 1st and 2nd Line Engineers
- Ensuring infrastructure systems operate efficiently
- Ensuring project deliverables are met on schedule and budget
- Engaging proactively in projects to deliver solutions
- Creating, updating, and reviewing documentation
- Identifying and mitigating risks
- Working with the Infrastructure Lead and Principal Engineer on cost management
- Challenging existing processes for continuous improvement
You should have significant experience in a Technology Infrastructure Engineer role or similar. ITIL v4 Foundation certification is highly desirable. A keen interest and understanding of Infrastructure technologies are advantageous; training and relevant certification will be provided.
