Infrastructure Cloud Architect - Azure

We're looking for a hands-on Architect with a strong Systems Engineering background, who can operate beyond detailed design and demonstrate a clear architectural approach.

You'll be responsible for looking at the bigger picture, understanding complex technical requirements, defining the right architecture, and making informed decisions around how systems should fit together, rather than simply designing individual components. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of the architecture, challenge existing thinking and provide clear technical direction across the wider solution.

This would suit someone who has come from a strong engineering background but has developed into an architect who can step back from the detail, see the end-to-end picture, and articulate the rationale behind their architectural decisions - most importantly own their work and be able to get on with the task at hand.

The successful candidate will be someone who is skilled with the following technologies and platforms: Microsoft Azure, Hybrid Cloud, Enterprise Infrastructure, Identity & IAM, Networking, Cloud Security, Cloud Governance, Architecture Frameworks, Cloud Migration, Microsoft Fabric, additionally if any candidates have experience of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) this would be considered advantageous but not essential.

You'll still be very hands-on and technically credible, but the key is that you bring genuine architecture thinking alongside your engineering capability - someone who can bridge the gap between high-level architecture and practical technical delivery.

Salary: c€75,000 + 10% Bonus
