Infrastructure Architect (Applications Transitioning)

On behalf of Tesco IMS, AMS are now looking for an Infrastructure Architect (Applications Transitioning) for a 6 Month contract based in the bank's Edinburgh office on a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement infrastructure services from the ground up (greenfield projects).
• Lead transition and migration work, moving applications and systems from Legacy platforms to modern environments.
• Ensure robust governance and alignment with industry standards.
• Contribute to both cloud deployments (AWS primary) and on-premise integration.
• Support specific projects around telephony systems.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong background in infrastructure design, transition, and assurance.
• Experience in regulated industries, ideally financial services or insurance.
• Proven track record of working in greenfield and transition projects.
• Technical expertise AWS (essential) and Azure (desirable).
• Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Desktop Services experience.
• Telephony systems experience(advantageous).
• Excellent stakeholder management and governance experience.
