Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Amsterdam for an Information Technology Specialist. The Specialist will be primarily support the development and maintenance of internal business applications using Oracle technologies. This role requires increasing Technical proficiency by adhering to established processes and documentation standards, working under the supervision of senior team members to assist in database - driven development, learning best practices in enterprise systems and contributing to ongoing digitalization efforts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of business applications
  • Write and troubleshoot basic PL/SQL queries and procedures
  • Participate in testing, debugging, and deployment processes
  • Support data integration and reporting tasks under guidance
  • Document development activities and follow project guidelines


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or final-year student) in MIS, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Foundational understanding of relational databases and SQL
  • Basic experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL
  • Good command of English, both written and verbal
  • General awareness of SDLC, application security, networks, and server environments


Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to or strong interest in workflow systems, business process modeling
  • Interest in Oracle APEX/Forms or similar platforms
  • Willingness to learn and apply Software Documentation practices
  • Problem-solving mindset
