Information Technology Project Manager

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Freelance IT Project Manager to oversee and coordinate key IT initiatives. This is a full time engagement (2-3 days per week onsite), ideal for a self-driven professional with a passion for delivering successful projects in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and validate project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with strategic business goals.
• Implement and uphold project governance standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Identify and coordinate internal resources (Business and/or IT) and third-party vendors.
• Assign tasks to team members and provide clear direction and support throughout project phases.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
• Act as the primary point of communication for all stakeholders, including business units, architects, and senior leadership.
• Track project progress against objectives and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Apply effective risk management to identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedules, and costs with precision and transparency.
• Ensure comprehensive project documentation is maintained throughout the lifecycle.
• Continuously explore opportunities to improve project management processes and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects, ideally within international, industrial, or corporate settings.
• Strong technical background and ability to engage with complex IT systems and infrastructure.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in global environments.
• Proficient in written and spoken English (no other language required).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with leading project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a hybrid work model.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a strong advantage.
