Freelance IT Project Manager - French Speaking Brussels or Francophone Belgium

I am looking for an experienced Freelance IT Project Manager to join our client for an exciting upcoming project. If you're a proactive, organized professional with a strong background in IT project delivery and fluent in French, I'd love to hear from you.

Location: Brussels or French-speaking regions of Belgium

Type: Freelance / Contract

Start Date: ASAP or negotiable

Duration: 6+ months (with possible extension)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and deliver IT projects on time and within scope and budget
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (internal and external stakeholders)
• Manage project risks, timelines, deliverables, and budgets
• Report regularly to senior stakeholders and ensure project alignment with business goals
• Oversee change management and ensure end-user adoption

Requirements:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in IT Project Management
• Strong understanding of IT systems, software development life cycles
• Fluent in French (spoken and written); knowledge of English is a strong asset
• Based in Brussels or in a French-speaking region of Belgium
• Experience with Agile and/or traditional project management methodologies
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities

Nice to Have:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master)
• Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government)
