Cyber/Information Security Project Manager - 6-month contract - Outside IR35 - £500/day - Huddersfield (Hybrid)
The opportunity
A major UK organisation is delivering a portfolio of seven business-critical cyber initiatives - and they re looking for an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to drive successful delivery across all workstreams.
You'll be leading initiatives across identity management, application security, threat detection, training, asset visibility and more. The groundwork has been laid, and whats needed now is structured, experienced, and proactive programme leadership.
This is a 6-month contract, outside IR35, paying £500/day, with on-site working required Tuesday and Thursday in Huddersfield.
What you'll be doing:
Leading the structured delivery across key areas such as:
- Training & awareness rollouts
- Threat & vulnerability scanning (PCI, vendor onboarding)
- Security policy & standards creation
- Cyber incident response planning and testing
- Application security and pen test coordination
- Asset inventory and criticality mapping
- Identity & privilege access governance
- Coordinating internal teams and external vendors
- Embedding governance, cadence, and measurable success criteria across all streams
- Reporting to security leadership and ensuring full programme visibility
- A contract-experienced Project Manager with a proven history delivering multiple concurrent cyber security initiatives
- Comfortable operating with independence and urgency in matrixed environments
- Strong stakeholder management and vendor oversight skills
- Ability to turn strategy into deliverables, and plans into outcomes
