We are currently recruiting for a Force Information Risk Assurer to support information assurance, security and risk management across the organisation.

• Role: Force Information Risk Assurer
• Location: Office-based
• Rate:£17 - £22 per hour (dependent on experience)

You will play a key role in ensuring information security risks are identified, assessed and mitigated, supporting compliance with national information assurance policies and standards.

• Develop and draft new Information Assurance process documentation
• Review, update and maintain local information security policies and standards
• Review and assess system designs to ensure secure-by-design principles are applied
• Ensure compliance with national information security policies and standards
• Identify information security risks and provide risk mitigation recommendations
• Develop and deliver security guidance for system users
• Provide advice on security requirements for new and existing IT systems
• Review third-party security questionnaires and assess suitability as part of onboarding processes
