Information Governance officer needed in Wolverhampton Paying £18.85ph Ref7563

Temporary role to support the IG Team on the delivery of the IG framework and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and best practice across data protection, Freedom of Information (FOI), Environmental Information Regulations (EIR), information sharing, and information security.

Responsibilities

• Temporary position
• Duration 8-12 weeks
• Start asap
• Hybrid working - initially we would require them to work from the office for a few weeks to meet everyone, get a feel for the team and environment and then they could work hybrid (office/WFH)
• The main role is for them to backfill support to the team - the work will cover the broader Information Governance arena so the work will be mixed. Officer will require experience of working in an IG team and undertaking all of the broader elements of the framework.
• Would prefer to carry out some telephone interviews for an initial vetting of experience.
