Job Description

NIAO has a permanent, full-time opportunity for an Information and Systems Officer (37 hours per week). The role offers a salary of £40,824 to £42,993 per annum and a range of attractive benefits including hybrid working, generous annual leave entitlement, generous pension package, flexible working, free car parking and an on-site gym.

This role is central to ensuring best practice is followed with regards to the acquisition, management, and organisation of information, and facilitate access to information to maximise its benefit and application.

Essential Criteria:

  1. A degree or relevant professional qualification.
  2. Three years' demonstrable experience covering each area of information governance, compliance, data protection, and records management.
  3. Proficiency in utilising information systems, with experience in designing and extracting reports for diverse projects.
  4. Proven track record of successfully implementing new information systems, which may include integration or replacement of manual processes.
  5. Experience of participating in digital solutions to drive business improvement in an organisation.
  6. Three years' experience in successfully maintaining an IT function and engaging with system providers to ensure that the IT environment is robust and operates seamlessly.
