Informatica Powercentre/Oracle Technical Data Engineer - Brussels and remote - 12 months+/START DATE: DECEMBER

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for an Informatica Powercentre/Oracle Technical Data Engineer.

As a senior profile, you actively contribute to maintaining and improving the standards, guidelines and good practices on data engineering. You are able to coach more junior profiles and you like to share your experiences and good practices within the chapter of the data engineers.

You elaborate and document the chosen solution, translate the functional requirements in technical requirements.

You estimate the development workload - or validation of the workload estimated by the product owner

You work on new development or maintenance of code (eg for traditional BI with Informatica Powercenter and Oracle) according to the standards, quality and performance levels of the tribe.

You perform the unit testing of the developments

You elaborate or contribute to the preparation of the installation in production - including integration and assembly testing

You support test management in the execution of tests (including bug fixing)

You perform code quality review of your colleagues

On a daily basis you monitor with your colleagues the operational environments for the applications in scope of the squad, you solve and close incidents following the SLA of the type of incident.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in IT
• 2-4 years of working experience in Informatica Powercenter & Oracle
• Strong knowledge in Oracle SQL Queries for database management
• SAS Programming (data handling & SAS macros) for testing and data extraction in ETLs
• Good knowledge of English (spoken& written)
• Mandatory Office presence: Twice per week in Brussels
• Agile Experience
• Seniority: Senior or Expert profile
• Candidate is expected to work 50%/month at the client office.
• Meaning that some week 2 days other weeks 3 days to reach 50%
