Informatica MDM Functional Consultant - 9 months+ - NL

For a leading organisation, we are looking for an experienced Informatica MDM Functional Consultant who will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing functional MDM solutions, and supporting successful implementations within Informatica MDM.

Are you a consultant who easily Switches between business analysis, functional design, data governance, and close collaboration with technical teams - and do you get energy from improving and structuring enterprise master data? Then this is an exciting interim assignment within a highly data-driven environment.

What you will do

• Translate business requirements into clear functional MDM specifications
• Design and document MDM processes, workflows, and data models
• Collaborate with technical teams on configuration and customisation of Informatica MDM
• Define and optimise data governance, data quality, and stewardship processes
• Prepare and lead workshops, training sessions, and UAT with business users
• Support integrations with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems
• Analyse and resolve functional issues, including identifying structural improvements
• Ensure alignment with data standards and regulatory compliance

Knock-out criteria (mandatory)

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Consultant within Informatica MDM
• Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM Hub, IDD, and Business Entity Services
• Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles
• Proven experience writing functional designs and requirements documentation
• Excellent communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders
• Willing to work onsite in the Netherlands

What we are also looking for

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data challenges into solutions
• Strong communication skills with confidence in stakeholder workshops
• Proactive, structured, and quality-driven working approach
• Experience within enterprise environments is a plus
• Experience with Customer360, Product360, or similar Informatica solutions is preferred
• Knowledge of ETL, SQL, and integration patterns is an advantage

Assignment details

• Start: As soon as possible
• Duration: 9 months, with option to extend
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Location: Netherlands (onsite) travel once or twice per week.
• Contract type: Freelance
• Rate: Depending on experience
