Industrial Cleaner - Scunthorpe

Pertemps Leeds seeks an Industrial Cleaner - Scunthorpe for a full-time, temporary contract at Bulten Ltd, based at Normanby Enterprise Park.

This position pays £12.81 per hour and offers immediate, ongoing work.

Your duties involve maintaining a hygienic and orderly environment across the entire site.

The initial assignment runs from 1st to 4th September, with shifts from 6:00am to 1:00pm, including a 30-minute unpaid break.

Thereafter, consistent work is available from 7th September, with daily hours from 6:00am to 9:30am.

We require a dependable individual who can attend an induction and training session.

Prior cleaning experience is beneficial, though a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential for this role.

The Role We are currently recruiting for a Cleaner to join our client, Bulten Ltd, based at Normanby Enterprise Park in Scunthorpe. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy and hygienic working environment across the site. The role offers an initial induction and training period, with the opportunity to continue working on an ongoing basis.

Working Hours

Initial assignment: Tuesday 1st September - Friday 4th September 6:00am - 1:00pm 30-minute unpaid break. From Monday 7th September onwards: 6:00am - 9:30am. Ongoing work available.

Pay

£12.81 per hour

Induction & Training

Ideally, the successful candidate will be available to attend an induction and training session on Friday 28th August at 6:00am. The induction and training will last approximately 2-3 hours and will be fully paid. This will allow you to become familiar with the site, your duties and the cleaning requirements before starting the main assignment on 1st September.

Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

• General cleaning across the site
• Maintaining clean and hygienic facilities
• Cleaning communal and working areas
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Following cleaning procedures and health & safety requirements
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the site
