Job Description

Director, CAIT (Creator, Affiliate, Influencer & Talent) - India

This role leads the launch, productization, and scaling of the CAIT function in the Indian market, acting as a centralized subject matter expert to ensure best in class delivery of creator and influencer work.

Responsibilities
  • Own the strategic intake with India account teams and CAIT leadership during campaign intake; decode client needs, ask sharp questions, and brief strategy teams.
  • Serve as the ultimate quality gatekeeper for the influencer strategy team; review, elevate, and approve strategic frameworks, platform shooting guides, and content principles.
  • Guard the casting process, consult on influencer sourcing lists, and ensure talent recommendations align with brand strategies and target demographics.
  • Act as internal and external evangelist, educating account teams and clients on leveraging creators for business outcomes.
  • Direct and mentor the execution team; approve all execution outputs, briefs, and creator communications.
  • Develop a robust network of talent managers, creators, and agents to secure efficient negotiations for clients.
  • Identify and optimize mid campaign opportunities for strategic partnerships with talent.
  • Adapt and implement CAIT workflows for India, managing rights, contracting, and compliance.
  • Partner with account teams to pitch CAIT services to existing and new clients; target % of retainer client social accounts.
  • Spearhead data driven post campaign case studies and use them to demonstrate ROI and value.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in the social media and creator landscape in India, with a proven track record managing strategy and execution teams.
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset; ability to productize and scale services.
  • Deep knowledge of affiliate models, social commerce, and creator collaborations to drive revenue.
  • Extensive understanding of the Indian talent ecosystem; connections with KOLs and creators.
  • Expertise in contracting, usage rights, exclusivity, and legal compliance for large scale activations.
  • High cultural fluency; thrives in fast paced, ambiguous environments and manages both creators and C suite clients.
