Job Description

Income Team Leader - Make a Real Impact to our communities as an Income Team Leader

Location: Boston Contract: Full time Salary: £37,776.61

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Income Team Leader (Arrears) to join our organisation and play a key role in the delivery of income maximisation and arrears management, ensuring effective service-led improvements; customer-focused support and promotion of sustainable neighbourhoods.

You will lead a team of Income Officers and Former Tenant Arrears Officer ensuring high performance and strong collection results.

You will support the team to prevent arrears and maximise income.

You will work closely with Income Team Leader (Customers); Tenancy Sustainment Team; Enforcement Officers and Data & Systems Officer as well as collaborative working with internal colleagues and external partners, to deliver positive outcomes and help customers sustain their tenancies.

What are we looking for in an Income Team Leader

  • We are seeking an Income Team Leader who genuinely embodies our organisational values and brings both expertise and passion to the role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing income management team

  • Proven experience working in income collection and arrears recovery, including strong understanding and compliance with relevant legislation; Best Practice and tenancy sustainment within social housing sector or public sector environment.

  • Confident decision-making within a supportive framework while remaining adaptable to changing circumstances and operational demands.

  • Ability to interpret and use data effectively to monitor performance, identify trends and ability to adapt to changing situations and drive continuous improvement.

  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle as travel will be required.
