Job Description

37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 16.00, Friday 08.00 to 15.30 term time only

Grade 7 £32,061 to £36,363 (£27,109 to £31,590 pro rata) - pay award pending

Governors would be happy to consider some limited flexibility if it suited an appropriate candidate i.e. a 35 hour contract with a working pattern of 8.15am until 3.45pm each day

The Governors of this very successful Catholic High School wish to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and caring Inclusion Room Manager to join our already strong and dedicated Pastoral Team.

Governors hope to appoint someone who will:
  • Have experience working in / with a school or educational related setting;
  • Manage the day to day running of the Inclusion Room, ensuring that pupils are effectively supervised and that impeccable standards of behaviour are maintained;
  • Work as part of the Pastoral Team to improve pupil behaviour;
  • Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards are maintained, personal development and well-being are achieved;
  • Have the skills to play a key role in the continued development of this key area;
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Be willing to support and uphold the Catholic ethos of our school;
  • Always be willing to go the extra mile for our children.
THE ROLE

This is a permanent role, working as a key member of the school's pastoral team in promoting high expectations of all pupils in relation to personal development, approach to learning, behaviour, appearance, attendance, punctuality, and engagement with the wider life of the school. We are looking for an Inclusion Room Manager to work as part of the Pastoral Team to address the needs of pupils and their parents/carers who require additional support to overcome the barriers to learning involving behaviour. The post holder will have responsibility for the administrative work involved in monitoring pupils' behaviour and work with the Pastoral Team to develop systems for improving pupil behaviour.
