Job Description
Overview

Designation: Incharge-Fleet Operations

Vehicle Movement
  • To ensure vehicle deployment at Client site as per PRQ in defined metrics
  • Optimum utilization of Vehicle by reducing idle time via lane monitoring and Fleet Movement every day.
  • Conduct daily meeting with fleet coordinator on vehicle status
  • Speedy action on detained vehicle in coordination with Zonal/Branch/Fleet operations Team/ CVCC team
  • Monitoring of High value Vehicles movement and escalations on timely basis for any deviation against plan.
Driver Management
  • Sourcing, Hiring and retention of Drivers (at Bareilly, Sourcing of drivers is currently with Sunder & Rajesh)
  • Coordination with Driver Cell on driver requirements and hiring
  • Continuous assessment of DPR and action plan on concerns
  • Continuous monitoring of Driver Behavior - On route and Off route and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Continuous monitoring of refusal cases/ hold cases and take appropriate corrective actions as per SOP
  • Develop and deploy driver engagement program, policies, training programs etc.
  • Health, Safety & Environment management of Drivers.
Fleet Operations
  • Management of Trip Settlement team
  • Ensure the all trip settlements are closed financial in the given timeline period of min. (Ideal should be within 60 days and max 90 days. No trips settlement to be more than 90 days.)
  • Minimizing on route exigency - Accidental Management, ORM, Legal
  • Ensure vehicles documents reaches to fleet on or before expiry of documents validity.
Shortages And Damages
  • Coordinate with zonal head/ shortages-damage team/ branch in case of damaged goods due to absence of tirupalin/ accidents cases
  • Getting day to day shortage/ damage update in DEPS & its support team in closure of the same.
Manpower Management
  • Training and Team Development
  • Supervises all Fleet Services employees; trains, evaluates and disciplines employees.
  • Ensuring and establishing controls to check and monitor productivity levels
