Imperial: Assistant/Associate Professor (Immunology, Infection, Bacteriology, or Microbiology)

Imperial College London's Department of Life Sciences is recruiting permanent Assistant and Associate Professors to establish research and teaching programs in either Immunology, including cellular immunology, or Infection, Bacteriology, or Microbiology. Key Benefits / Salary / Funding

• Assistant Professor salary: £73,194 to £82,954 per year.
• Associate Professor salary: Minimum starting salary of £85,873 per year.

• Contract: Permanent, open-ended faculty appointment.
• The positions are based at the South Kensington Campus with hybrid working arrangements.

Research

• Develop a broad research program in either Immunology or Infection, Bacteriology, or Microbiology within the Department.
• Supervise, train, and mentor research staff and students.
• Manage research projects.
• Publish research in peer-reviewed journals.
• Attend and present research at national and international conferences.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Department of Life Sciences and across other departments.
• Contribute to national and international research communities and/or learned societies.
• Broaden the Department's research capabilities while complementing its existing research strengths.

Education

• Teach undergraduate, master's, and higher research degree students through lectures and seminars.
• Examine courses at undergraduate, master's, and higher research degree levels.
• Contribute to examination setting, coursework setting, marking, and viva-style examinations.
